Just prior to BikeFest 2011, I called LVMPD internal affairs to complain about a law enforcer that gave me an unlawful order to "show respect." That appeared to be code to the sgt to alert him that someone was photographing what he was doing. In Las Vegas, recording cops is dangerous work. I didn't know it then, but I know it now. I asked the IA detective if motorcyclists should expect to be violated this year again and her response was astounding.
